Imperial County Air Pollution Control District Hearing Board

will suspend in-person participation

In order to protect the health and well-being of the public due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (ICAPCD) Hearing Board will temporarily not be providing in-person participation. The Hearing Board will make available the hearing via video conferencing and by telephone. Please follow the instructions below to join the meeting remotely.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the ICAPCD Hearing Board will hold a public hearing via teleconference on February 22, 2023 at 12:00 pm. The purpose of this hearing is to consider a request by the United States Gypsum Co. (USG), located at 3810 W. Evan Hewes Hwy., in Imperial, CA, for a Short Variance (01-23SHT) for Condition B.1 of ICAPCD Permit to Operate No. 2811A-2, as it pertains to the following requirement:

B.1    Kiln #1 shall not exceed any of the following emission limits when producing Standard Wallboard.
