Pursuant to Rule 900, of Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (ICAPCD) Rules and Regulations, the Air Pollution Control Officer (APCO) has made a preliminary decision to issue a renewal Title V Operating Permit to United States Gypsum Company for the gypsum wallboard and related products manufacturing located at the Plaster City facility, at 3810 W. Evan Hewes Hwy., Plaster City, California. This facility has been determined to be a Title V source due to the amount of emissions for nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and particulate matter (PM10). The Title V Operating Permit, V-2834, will include conditions to ensure that all federal requirements will be satisfied.
The Public has an opportunity to submit comments regarding this proposed decision and request that the ICAPCD hold a Public Hearing. Written comments will be received by the ICAPCD for a period of thirty (30) days after publication of
