Pursuant to Rule 206 of Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (ICAPCD) Rules and Regulations, the Air Pollution

Control Officer (APCO) has made a preliminary decision to grant an Authority to Construct permit to Burrtec Waste Industries, Inc. for a green waste composting operation.  The project described herein will be conducted at Burrtec’s existing facility located at 935 W. Highway 86, Salton City CA.  Authority to Construct Permit No. 4661 will include conditions to ensure that all ICAPCD requirements are satisfied.

The Public has an opportunity to submit comments on the proposed project.  Written comments regarding the proposed decision will be received by the ICAPCD for a period of thirty (30) days after publication of this notice.  The closing date for comments will be May 25, 2025.  Please direct your comments to the attention of Jesus Ramirez, by mailing them to Imperial County Air Pollution Control District, 150 South 9^th Street, El Centro, CA 92243, or via email to jesusramirez@co.imperial.ca.us.
