Air Pollution Control District Hearing Board

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 12:00 pm at the Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (ICAPCD) located at 150 South 9^th St., El Centro, CA 92243. The purpose of this hearing is to consider a request by the United States Gypsum Company (USG), located at 3810 W. Evan Hewes Hwy. in Imperial, CA, for a Short Variance (10-25SHT). The requested Short Variance is for Condition B.3 (Table 1) of Permit to Operate (PTO) No. 3511A, pertaining to the daily particulate matter less than ten microns (PM10) emissions limit for the facility’s West Rock Belt Dust Collector and the PM10 concentration limit for the #3 Board Line Dust Collector. The applicable sections of Condition B.3 are listed below:

B.3      All the Dust Collectors (bag houses) listed below that are part of the Mill Modernization Project shall not exceed any of the following emission limits.

Documentation in support of this request is on file at the ICAPCD office, located at 150 South 9^th St., El Centro, CA 92243.
