Pursuant to Rule 206 of Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (ICAPCD) Rules and Regulations, the Air Pollution Control Officer (APCO) has made a preliminary decision to grant an Authority to Construct Permit to Superior Ready-Mix to modify an existing Rock Crushing and Screening Plant to install five more belt conveyors and two additional feed hoppers to the permit to replace the current overland haul route by front end loader with a set of belt conveyors that will transport plant feed materials from the existing quarry face to the rock plant. This facility is located at Frink Pit, North of Niland, CA. Authority to Construct Permit No. 2122A-8 will include conditions to ensure that all ICAPCD requirements will be satisfied.

The Public has an opportunity to submit comments on the above proposed permit. Written comments regarding the proposed decision will be received by the ICAPCD for a period of thirty (30) days after publication of this notice.  The closing date for comments will be March 9^th, 2025.  Please direct your comments to the attention of Jesus Ramirez, by mailing them to Imperial County Air Pollution Control District, 150 South Ninth Street, El Centro, CA 92243, or via e-mail at jesusramirez@co.imperial.ca.us.
